It was a loooong week back at work. I’ve been crazy busy – and exhausted – but am excited to finally publish my classroom reveal!!!
Let’s start at the beginning.
I really needed a bulletin board here. Last year I made a faux board, but I couldn’t staple into it. This year I bought some little cork square. Ta-da! I’m sure they will fill up soon with calendars, reminders, and more.
How cute is this?
My paper sorter (students mailboxes) is new this year. So excited!
This area is most of my classroom library. The empty wooden shelving is used to store my math centers. All of our reading anchor charts will cover up that blank wall!
I love this new setup. The board behind my desk is two filing cabinets pushed back to back. The table in front of my desk will be the turn-in area. I have ribbon strung across my windows to display student work.
(Forgive me for forgetting to unroll the American flag!! It kept hitting me in the face!!)
Ignore my messy tables. The rectangle table will be my writing center, and the kidney table is where I pull small groups.
I’m loving the new washi tape that I used to block off my board this year!
We will fill up those blank yellow rectangles with sticky notes on the first day of school.
These are the kids’ backpack cabinets and cubbies. My word wall is new this year, too!
Here’s the whole room, taken from my doorway:
My huge windows make it so difficult to take decent pictures of my room!
Did you see some things you liked around the room?
I missed a lot of the classroom reveal linky parties since I wasn’t able to even get into my classroom until this past week! I’d love for you to link up with me, even if you’ve already linked your reveal to a different party.

Love your classroom!! I am totally going to use the "Can you figure out Mrs. Payne" idea!! Too cute for the first day! I'm also going to snag your "Reading Superstar" poster. Thank you for creating the link up, good luck this school year!! ๐
I love the library area – looks great! I also like the idea of stringing ribbon across the window – I think I'll do it so I can display work facing out for the parents to see when they come to collect them at the end of the day! I blue tak at the moment but pegging on ribbon will be much easier! Growing Little Learners
I love your classroom! Thank you for having us link up! I am working on my flip book for open house right now, thank you for getting back to me! Make sure you come and enter my back to school giveaway! Miss Crafty Teacher
Thank you! And thanks for linking up! Email me if you want anything from my TPT store since you were in the first ten. ๐ My flip book was a huge hit at Meet the Teacher!
I love your classroom reveal! It looks so amazing. And now I am pretty convinced we might teach in the same district. ๐ You can use washi tape on the white board? Has it stayed pretty well? I love washi tape and I am desperate to use it in my classroom! Hope you have had a great few weeks!
We might!! I won't reveal for everyone to see but you can definitely email me (mycarolinaclassroom@gmail) if you wanna figure it out. ๐
Yes! I used washi tape last year too. I peeled it off when I came back in August and it didn't leave any residue, even after being in the building with no AC all summer. LOVE it.
